Quick Start

Get started with TimeZero by setting up your organization and inviting your team. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to begin generating reports.

For Administrators

If you're setting up TimeZero for your organization, follow these steps:

Create Your Account

Visit the TimeZero signup page and create your administrator account. You'll need to provide:

  • Your email address
  • A secure password
  • Basic profile information

Once registered, you'll automatically be logged into your new account.

Create Your Organization

After logging in, you'll be prompted to create your organization:

  1. Click Create Organization from your dashboard
  2. Enter your organization name (e.g., "Smith & Associates Legal", "Acme Investigations")
  3. Click Create

Your organization is now ready to use!

Invite Team Members

Now you can invite colleagues and contractors to join your organization:

1. Navigate to SettingsTeam Members
2. Click Invite Member
3. Enter the member's details (Full name, Email address, Role)
4. Click Send Invite

Important: After creating the invite, you'll see the login credentials (username and temporary password) only once. Make sure to copy these credentials immediately and securely share them with your team member. You won't be able to view them again.

Best Practices for Sharing Credentials:

  • Use a secure communication channel (encrypted email, password manager, or in-person)
  • Never share credentials via regular email or messaging apps
  • Confirm the team member has received and saved their credentials

For Team Members

If you've received an invite to join a TimeZero organization, here's how to get started:

Receive Your Credentials

Your administrator will provide you with:

  • Username
  • Temporary password
  • Organization name

First Login

  1. Go to the TimeZero login page
  2. Enter your username and temporary password
  3. Click Login

Set Your Password

On your first login, you'll be prompted to change your password:

  1. Enter your temporary password
  2. Create a new secure password
  3. Confirm your new password
  4. Click Update Password

You're now ready to start using TimeZero!
